How we work<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Slow Food Community Buz\u0103u Land is a non-profit interest group<\/strong> open to all people interested in good, clean and fairly priced food<\/strong>. We organize monthly informal get-togethers and social events<\/strong> at our members’ locations. Here we present the results of our work, exchange ideas, plan future activities and have dinner together. Social events are announced publicly via social networks<\/a>. A dinner fee is charged directly by the organizer\/owner of the venue.<\/p>\n

All those who identify with Slow Food values and want to participate in promoting and practicing them are welcome in our community. The Slow Food community is based on a group of individuals. Most of our members <\/strong>represent a food, farming or craft business, own local restaurants or inns, or represent associations and educational institutions. <\/p>\n\n

Membership is free<\/strong>. An annual donation<\/strong> will be charged to support the work of Slow Food International – individually agreed. <\/p>\n\n

For specific topics we have working groups<\/strong> (e.g. Slow Food Education, Promotion of Artisanal Products) that meet regularly. <\/p>\n\n

Specific promotional activities<\/strong> (e.g. online promotion and listing of products\/activities) are agreed individually by cost sharing or cost contribution<\/strong> between participating companies. Please note that we only promote businesses that meet the minimum criteria<\/a><\/strong> according to the Slow Food principles. We also welcome members whose businesses do not yet meet the criteria, but who intend to improve and adapt their business to become more sustainable (e.g. restaurants that want to introduce a Slow Food concept).<\/p>\n\n
