The Artisan Market – Slow Food & Gourmet Hub Buzău is the first collaborative project of its kind in Romania, where small artisan producers and tourism service providers work together to create a new fair format. Members of the Slow Food Community work together from concept planning, to the design of the recycled material stands, to the promotion of the event.
Who are the exhibitors?
Members of the Slow Food Buzău Community will have a special corner where they will present their artisanal products
In addition, the fair will featureselected artisan food producers from neighbouring counties (Dealu Mare/Prahova area, Brasov, Covasna, Bucharest, Braila and Galati).
A Street & Gourmet Food corner will give you the opportunity to taste freshly prepared products
Tourist offer: a joint stand of the UNESCO Global Geopark and the region’s guesthouses (members of Slow Food Buzău) will present the latest offers in rural tourism, adventure tourism and culinary tourism.

We strive to have a wide variety of products: a mix of vegetables, fruits, honey, jams, jellies, sauces, artisan cheeses, cured meats, artisan drinks, organic wine, craft beer and much more – all producers share a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach.
What else does the Artisans’ Market offer?
In addition to shopping, the Artisans’ Market is a family and social event, where you can chat with small producers, learn about sustainable rural and culinary tourism and discover the offer of the UNESCO Global Geopark Ținutul Buzăului. Children can enjoy special workshops.
