Farmers & Food Producers

Here you will find an overview of farmers and artisan food producers – based on Slow Food principles and locally defined criteria, for example:

The producer is rooted in a specific territory (Buzău county)

Quality and sustainability of food, not quantity, is the basic principle of the business (e.g. no GM products, foie gras, ultra-processed food)

The majority of ingredients come from Romania, a substantial part of the ingredients come from local production (no more than 50 km from the place of production)

Products do not necessarily have to be traditional or local food, but must have a clear link to a local community.
