Programme

The Slow Food Buzău Community is pleased to announce the organization of the “Slow Food Romania Conference”, which will take place on May 24 at the “I.C. Brătianu” Museum Centre in Buzău. The conference brings together for the first time in Buzău the Slow Food communities in Romania as well as artisanal food enthusiasts from all over the country.

In addition to the conference, the Slow Food Buzău Community invites you on May 25 and 26 to the “Craftsmen’s Market”, in the village of Berca, at the entrance to the UNESCO International Geopark “Buzau County”, to the fourth edition of the fair of artisan producers.

We invite you to authentically explore flavour, tradition and sustainability. The four-day event, from 24-26 May, is a unique opportunity for both seasoned enthusiasts of the international Slow Food movement and newcomers curious about artisanal production to meet, share experiences and learn about new food concepts.

The programme is attractively designed to stimulate the senses, combining talks on organic and artisan food and drink with Slow Travel philosophy and UNESCO Geopark explorations.

This event is a fitting culmination of the Slow Food movement, an international initiative dedicated to preserving good food practices while advocating for good, clean and fair food for all.
