Hanul Moara Veche (Old Mill Inn) is a guesthouse-restaurant on the site of the former mill in the old village of Berca, a family business with a history dating back to 1927.
Situated on the road to the Muddy Volcanoes (7km), the partially renovated building, complete with new elements, but keeping the old style, was opened in 2011, with 6 rooms (16 beds, 4 triple rooms, 2 double rooms) and a la carte restaurant, two garden terraces on an area of over 2000 square meters and a playground for children.
On the list of legacies is the old recipe for Pleșcoi sausages, along with other dishes produced at home or by local producers, all of them respecting the Slow Food concept.
