Hanul Moara Veche (Old Mill Inn) is a guesthouse-restaurant on the site of the former mill in the old village of Berca, a family business with a history dating back to 1927.
Situated on the road to Mud Volcanoes (7km), the building partially renovated and completed with new elements, but keeping the old style, was opened in 2011, and is equipped with 6 rooms ( 16 beds, 4 triple rooms, 2 double rooms) and a la carte restaurant, two patio-gardens on an area of more than 2000 sqm and playground for children.
On the list of legacies is the old recipe for Pleșcoi sausages, along with other dishes produced at home or by local producers, all of them respecting the Slow Food concept.
