We have launched a new initiative for Green Week and School Differently. Educational trips in the Buzăului region to discover artisan producers and sustainable food.
Sample program (1 day trips):
Visit to the UNESCO Tinuțul Buzăului Geopark (Mud Volcanoes, etc.)
Lunch at a Slow Food partner with a menu based on regional ingredients from small producers
Short presentation (Slow Food Concept) of artisanal producers or visit to one of the producers
Educational-interactive workshop on artisanal food from Buzăului County
Workshops vary according to season and theme
Sample homework:
Beekeeping and Honey – The variety of one of the oldest foods
Buzăului Hills – The secret of berries and herbs
Bread, spices and herbs – Variety of one of the oldest staple foods
Buzăului Valley – a paradise for fruit and vegetables
Artisanal dairy and artisan cheeses – from farm to table



Groups: min. 20, max. 50 children
February – July, September – November (seasonal themes)
The program is designed for primary school children. For older children we can offer the program on request.
